## What it does

Taskade MCP connects Claude Code to a Taskade workspace through the hosted server at `https://www.taskade.com/mcp`. It uses Streamable HTTP and OAuth, so the client opens a Taskade sign-in flow and asks you to approve access.

The server can import a spreadsheet into a project, check changes in a Taskade Genesis app, report on projects and automations, back up an app to a folder, and plan a new app. The repository also includes the local stdio package `@taskade/mcp-server` and an agent plugin with skills for supported clients.

MCP access is included with paid Taskade plans from Starter upward. On the Free plan, `list_spaces` returns no workspaces, so that limit affects the setup choice.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Remote server: `https://www.taskade.com/mcp`
- Environment variables: `TASKADE_API_KEY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
