## What it does

The server lives at `https://taokeh.my/mcp` and exposes 64 tools. They cover money in and money out, the weekly bank review, and reading balances. Any write arrives as a draft, so a human has to approve it in Taokeh before it lands in the books.

The repo ships two skills. `skills/ask-taokeh/` walks through everyday bookkeeping with the connector and explains how to read the figures without fooling yourself. `skills/ask-taokeh-migration/` handles moving a company's books over from another system: the order of steps, plus cutover rules that keep totals consistent. Developers scripting against their own books get `taokeh-mcp-client` on npm, a CLI and library that takes a personal token, lists the tools and calls one.

Connecting a chat client needs nothing from the repo — Claude, ChatGPT and the rest point straight at the endpoint. A personal token and a company set up in Taokeh are what you actually need; auth is tied to specific books. The repo mirrors Taokeh's main codebase, so file an issue before sending a pull request.
