## What it does

The server lets an assistant create and search tasks, start processes from templates, move them through steps, and edit templates. It can also fill form fields, manage users and groups, search an organization, and work with attached files. The signed-in Tallyfy user’s permissions determine what the assistant can access.

For a hosted connection, use `https://mcp.tallyfy.com/`, which uses streamable HTTP and OAuth. The server is built for interactive requests; Tallyfy points to its CLI for CSV-driven launches and other high-volume automation. You can also run the server with Docker. Running it without Docker requires Python 3.13 and the dependencies in `server/requirements.txt`.
