# Svelte MCP

The official Svelte MCP server gives agents access to Svelte docs and autofixing tools. Use it when you want an agent to consult the docs or work on Svelte code.

## What it does

Svelte MCP connects an agent to Svelte documentation and autofixing tools. That helps when you want an agent to look up Svelte guidance or fix issues in Svelte code. The description does not list the individual autofixing tools.

In Claude Code, add the server over HTTP with `claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.svelte.dev/mcp`. For local use, the `@sveltejs/mcp` CLI can run through `npx -y @sveltejs/mcp`. You can also install it with `pnpm i @sveltejs/mcp` and start it with `pnpm svelte-mcp`. The local option requires `npx` or `pnpm` to run.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Remote server: `https://mcp.svelte.dev/mcp`
