# strategy-skills

Hands your agent 12 prompts built on strategy frameworks: diagnostics, VRIO, Wardley Map, pre-mortem. Useful when the task is a business question, not code.

## What it does

The server runs through `npx` and exposes a set of prompts to any MCP client. Start with `strategy` — an orchestrator that ties the other skills together. The rest cover `strategy-diagnostic`, `strategy-map`, `vrio-analysis`, `environmental-radar`, `market-position`, `wardley-map`, `culture-assessment`, `first-principles-strategy`, `playing-to-win`, `pre-mortem` and `protoloop-setup`.

Every prompt takes an optional `mode` argument: `diagnostic`, `review` or `alert`. One resource ships alongside them — `company-context-template`, a template for the living document that carries company context between sessions. Skip it and each conversation restarts from nothing.

The CC BY 4.0 license allows commercial use, with attribution to Eterdis AS. Worth remembering if the output lands in client-facing documents.

## When to use it
- work through a product strategy step by step
- test whether a competitive edge actually holds
- spot where a plan breaks before launch
- map component maturity on a Wardley Map
- separate stated company culture from the real one

## Example prompts
- Run `strategy` and work through our plan for entering a new market
- Take `pre-mortem` over the release plan in `review` mode
- Do a `vrio-analysis` on our logistics advantage
