## What it does

The server lets an assistant work with Statuser service data: check current states and monitoring history, investigate incidents, update status pages, and manage notifications. Account and project settings are available too. Requests act as the API key’s owner, so plan limits still apply.

Choose the hosted Streamable HTTP endpoint or run the local server with `npx -y @statuser/mcp`. The local option requires Node.js 18.17 or newer. In Claude Code, setup passes the API key as an environment variable. OAuth-only clients cannot connect; changes through the hosted endpoint need confirmation in each call.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Remote server: `https://mcp.statuser.cloud`
- Environment variables: `STATUSER_API_KEY`, `STATUSER_ALLOW_WRITE`, `STATUSER_TOOLSETS` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
