## What it does

Stash links Claude Code to the iPhone notebook. The agent can find entries and read their contents, or save a new note that the server summarizes. Questions spanning your notes use a separate feature that requires Stash Pro. Free accounts can search, read, and save notes, with monthly allowances for summaries and research reports.

Grafted Software runs this as a remote MCP server; the plugin has no local code. Install the Stash app and sign in with Apple or Google, then authenticate the server with that same account when its first tool runs and approve the requested access. The server decrypts notes to process them and sends note text to Anthropic through OpenRouter for summaries, research, and answers. Notes are encrypted at rest, but this is not zero-knowledge storage.
