## What it does

sportsdata-mcp exposes sports APIs, bookmaker prices, league feeds, and prediction-market data to an agent. Its catalogue has 801 tools from 63 providers, with 43 available without a key. The server can compare prices for the same market across bookmakers instead of returning a single score feed.

Tools are arranged in groups, while capability tags let the model find providers that answer the same request. Use `sportsdata-mcp list-groups` to inspect the enabled catalogue and `sportsdata-mcp coverage` to test providers from the current machine. New integrations are described with YAML files under `src/sportsdata_mcp/specs/`.

The catalogue also includes bet-placement tools for Sportsbet, TAB, Unibet, and Ladbrokes/Neds. They use credentials from your account and run when the connected agent calls them. Australian bookmakers block traffic from outside Australia, so their odds depend on where the server runs.
