# Soundcheck Live Event Quotes

## What it does

The server exposes a `quote_event` tool. You describe the event in plain words and get back a cost range. Those figures are synthetic and illustrative, not binding — treat them as a starting point, not a quote you can send a client.

The public endpoint `https://mcp.soundchecklive.io/public/mcp` asks for no login and no API key. Transport is inferred from the `url`, so the config entries are ready to paste as they are.

The repo also ships a member server at `https://mcp.soundchecklive.io/mcp` with OAuth and tools for events, crew, setlists and settlement. That is a separate product tied to your organisation, and signing in goes through `accounts.soundchecklive.io`. For plain estimates the member endpoint is the wrong one to pick.
