## What it does

The server ships deployment tools: packages a directory into an archive, uploads to sota.io, streams build and runtime logs, updates environment variables, rolls back versions. Handles custom domains — adds them, checks DNS status, removes. Manages projects: creates, deletes, lists.

Two transports available. For Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf and other IDEs — stdio via `npx -y @sota-io/mcp`, requires `SOTA_API_KEY` from the sota.io dashboard. For Claude Desktop and Claude.ai web, the hosted endpoint at `mcp.sota.io` is simpler — OAuth replaces the key, sign-up happens in chat via the `create_account` tool. The stdio transport won't start without an API key.

## When to use it
- deploy an app from the current directory with one command
- check build logs after deployment
- roll back a project to the previous version without rebuilding
- set an environment variable without opening the dashboard

## Example prompts
