## What it does

SocialGPT links your coding agent to social network statistics over the Model Context Protocol. It runs as a hosted endpoint on streamable HTTP at `https://mcp.gpt.social/mcp`. No local runtime is needed. Authentication uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE in your browser on the first tool call.

Default access is strictly read-only. Available tools include `list_videos`, `search_videos`, `get_video_analysis`, and profile synthesis for voice and hooks. Without connecting a personal account inside SocialGPT, the tools only analyze public competitor data. Publishing content requires granting the `content:publish` scope and demands explicit confirmation before anything posts.
