# Social Media Trends API

Query weekly trend history, percentage changes, or a live ranked feed through an MCP server. Use it to inspect signals for a keyword and source.

## What it does

The server exposes three operations. One returns weekly history for a source and keyword; another gives the percentage change. A third fetches a live ranked feed and takes a trend type instead. Source options, feed categories, and keyword formats are described in the service catalogs.

A token is needed for requests. Claude Code connects over HTTP, while the Cursor setup uses an `mcp.json` configuration. There is one specific requirement for app data: `app downloads` and `app rankings` need an Android bundle ID, such as `com.openai.chatgpt`.

## Requirements
- Remote server: `https://social-media.api.trendsapi.ai/mcp`

## Install
