# Snappfood & SnappMarket

A read-only MCP server for finding food and groceries in Iran, comparing prices, and checking delivery costs. It cannot place orders.

## What it does

This server gives an AI agent access to Snappfood and SnappMarket. It can search dishes and products near an address, compare the final cost with packaging and delivery, and inspect menus, reviews, minimum orders, discounts, and coupons. The package exposes 21 read-only tools.

You need `uv` and Python 3.10+. No API key or account is required. Prices are returned in Toman, and Persian queries match best. Most tools expect `lat` and `long`; use `find_location` first when the request starts with an address.

Snappfood requires an Iranian IP address. Run the server from Iran without a VPN, or set `SNAPP_MCP_PROXY` to an HTTP proxy whose exit point is in Iran. System proxy settings are ignored, so requests from outside Iran without that proxy receive HTTP 403.

## Requirements
- Needs: Python and uv (commands run via uvx)
- Environment variables: `SNAPP_MCP_PROXY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.

- filter restaurants by discounts or free delivery
