# Slidev MCP

Builds Slidev web presentations from Markdown prompts and outputs a hosted link. Ideal for sharing interactive slides in the browser without account setup.

## What it does

The server links your coding agent to an endpoint at `https://mcp.slidev-mcp.org/mcp` using streamable HTTP. The model references Slidev specifications and writes presentation layouts on demand. Each build outputs a public URL on `slides.slidev-mcp.org`. Anyone can open the deck without logging in. Fullscreen toggles with the `f` key.

Twenty-four preset styles come out of the box. You can pick standard options like `seriph` or community styles like `nord` and `dracula`.

Live adjustments overwrite the active link while your chat continues. Disconnecting turns the slides into a frozen snapshot that lasts 30 days. Because public hosting deletes slides after that window, preserving them permanently requires self-hosting via Docker Compose.
