## What it does

Skills Board connects coding agents to a shared registry of team skills. Useful setups often get lost in individual chats. Here, developers register GitHub repositories under shared tags. Agents query this directory during a session to retrieve relevant instructions.

The integration communicates over HTTP using `https://www.skillsboard.sh/api/mcp` or a self-hosted instance. Self-hosting requires Node.js 20.9 or newer, pnpm 10, and PostgreSQL 15.

The registry pulls current files from GitHub without code auditing. Review foreign repository files before letting agents run them.
