## What it does

sevdesk-mcp exposes sevDesk through an MCP interface. Its 24 tools cover invoice and voucher records, contacts, transactions, PDF retrieval, VAT checks, duplicate detection, subscription gaps, and receipt matching. A searchable operation catalogue provides access to all 151 sevDesk API operations without adding 151 separate tools to the client.

You need Node.js ≥ 22, a sevDesk account, an API token, and an MCP client. The server can start in read-only mode through `SEVDESK_READ_ONLY`; write access is enabled with `false`, while write tools accept `dryRun`. Receipt-folder comparison uses `SEVDESK_RECEIPT_DIRS`. The server cannot connect to sevDesk without `SEVDESK_API_TOKEN`.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `SEVDESK_API_TOKEN`, `SEVDESK_READ_ONLY`, `SEVDESK_RATE_LIMIT` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.

## When to use it
