## What it does

The MCP server can search SES events and show a message’s delivery history with bounce diagnostics. It also retrieves aggregate statistics, creates or renames sources, and returns SES setup details such as the webhook URL, configuration set, and topic names. Message data is read-only; retention settings and source deletion stay in the web UI.

For a self-hosted instance, create an API key in the web UI and follow the connection guide at `/docs/mcp`. Cloudflare bot protection blocks requests to `/mcp` unless that path is exempted. MCP uses API keys rather than HTTP Basic auth, and turning Basic auth on does not revoke existing keys.

## Requirements
- Remote server: `https://api.sessy.do/mcp`

```
### Codex
**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
codex mcp add sessy-amazon-ses-observability --url https://api.sessy.do/mcp
```
### Cursor
**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "sessy-amazon-ses-observability": {
            "url": "https://api.sessy.do/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```
### GitHub Copilot
**Config file**
        }
    }
}
```

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
gemini mcp add -t http sessy-amazon-ses-observability https://api.sessy.do/mcp
```
