# SEO Tools: Yandex Wordstat

Connects official Yandex Wordstat API v2 to an AI client via stdio. It provides keyword frequencies and search trend dynamics in JSON format.

## What it does

The server operates in read-only mode. It returns structured JSON straight to your context. The tool set includes `wordstat_frequency` for search volumes, `wordstat_dynamics` for historical trends, as well as `wordstat_regions` and `wordstat_regions_tree` for geographic distribution. Checking session credentials happens via `<server>_auth_status` and `<server>_set_credentials`.

Direct calls require a Yandex Cloud Search API key. Without `WORDSTAT_API_KEY` and `WORDSTAT_FOLDER_ID` environment variables, the server will not respond. All communication runs over stdio.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `WORDSTAT_API_KEY`, `WORDSTAT_FOLDER_ID` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
