## What it does

The server connects an agent to ScrapingBee over MCP. It can return page text or HTML, capture a screenshot, download a file, or extract fields using CSS or XPath selectors. Other tools search the web and retrieve product, video, and Google results.

ScrapingBee hosts the server, so there is no local process to install or run. Configure an HTTP connection and provide the API key in an authorization header. Each call uses ScrapingBee credits, and a call handles one page or query. The description points to ScrapingBee CLI for crawling a site or processing hundreds of URLs in batches.
