## What it does

The server exposes 45 API endpoints through three core tools: searching actions by plain description, inspecting schema details, and dispatching the call. The assistant handles document lookups directly. It checks stages of approval, inspects counterparty details, and verifies employee power of attorney records.

Security controls separate operations by access type. Queries that only inspect data run immediately, while modifications and irreversible changes ask for confirmation. Running it requires Python 3.10 or newer and an active `SBIS_SESSION_ID`. Because Saby sessions expire, you must renew the token when it lapses. Credentials can stay in environment variables or in `~/.ru-mcp/cabinets.json`.

## Requirements
- Needs: Python and uv (commands run via uvx)
- Environment variables: `SBIS_SESSION_ID` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Platform CLI**
```bash
claude mcp add sbis-mcp-ru -e SBIS_SESSION_ID=<SBIS_SESSION_ID> -- uvx sbis-mcp-ru
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from sbis-mcp-ru <command>

### Codex

**Platform CLI**
```bash
codex mcp add sbis-saby-mcp-ru-dokumenty-podpis-edo --env SBIS_SESSION_ID=<SBIS_SESSION_ID> -- uvx sbis-mcp-ru
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from sbis-mcp-ru <command>

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "sbis-saby-mcp-ru-dokumenty-podpis-edo": {
            "command": "uvx",
            "args": [
                "sbis-mcp-ru"
            ],
            "env": {
                "SBIS_SESSION_ID": "<SBIS_SESSION_ID>"
            }
        }
    }
}
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from sbis-mcp-ru <command>

### GitHub Copilot

**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "servers": {
        "sbis-saby-mcp-ru-dokumenty-podpis-edo": {
            "type": "stdio",
            "command": "uvx",
            "args": [
                "sbis-mcp-ru"
            ],
            "env": {
                "SBIS_SESSION_ID": "<SBIS_SESSION_ID>"
            }
        }
    }
}
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from sbis-mcp-ru <command>

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini mcp add -e SBIS_SESSION_ID=<SBIS_SESSION_ID> sbis-saby-mcp-ru-dokumenty-podpis-edo uvx sbis-mcp-ru
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from sbis-mcp-ru <command>

## When to use it
- inspect stage progress for outgoing and incoming business documents
- check expiration dates across digital signature certificates and MCHD
- retrieve counterparty identifiers for electronic document interchange
- fetch batches of updated business files by date range

## Example prompts
- Check Saby for incoming documents that are waiting for approval
- List digital signature certificates and highlight any that expire soon
- Look up the electronic document exchange ID for this counterparty
