# Sato Kit

Prepare blockchain operations for policy checks and simulation, then hand them to a signer. Useful when an agent needs to inspect onchain data or stage transactions.

## What it does

Sato Kit gives agents tools to read chain data, fetch swap quotes, and prepare operations on EVM networks and Solana. Before returning an intent, it checks the configured policy and simulates the operation; execution goes to the chosen signer, with a hash-linked receipt record appended. The network setting starts on a fork, so mainnet requires an explicit choice.

You need Node.js 20 or later and `viem`. Policy checks happen before signing; after a key is involved, enforcement belongs to the signer, so the pre-flight check is not a substitute. `x402.prepare` assesses a payment request, but `execute` does not submit x402 payments. Use an x402 client for those. The kit does not store keys or hold funds.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Platform CLI**
```bash
claude mcp add kit -- npx -y @satohub/kit
```

### Codex

**Platform CLI**
```bash
codex mcp add kit -- npx -y @satohub/kit
```

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "kit": {
            "command": "npx",
            "args": [
                "-y",
                "@satohub/kit"
            ]
        }
    }
}
```

### GitHub Copilot

**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "servers": {
        "kit": {
            "type": "stdio",
            "command": "npx",
            "args": [
                "-y",
                "@satohub/kit"
            ]
        }
    }
}
```

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini mcp add kit npx -y @satohub/kit
```

## When to use it
- inspect data on a supported chain
- get a token swap quote
- stage a transaction and simulate it
- review token approvals or prepare a revocation
- prepare a Solana transfer

## Example prompts
- Read this address on Base and explain the onchain data.
- Prepare a token swap on Ethereum and simulate the transaction.
- Show this address's token approvals and prepare a revocation for the selected approval.
