## What it does

This server translates assistant calls into HTTP requests against the ABAP Development Tools endpoints that Eclipse normally consumes. It exposes over 50 specific tools to read repository objects and run syntax checks. Multi-system profiles let the agent analyze code across development and testing environments without switching configs.

Security controls prevent accidental writes. Setting `readOnly: true` rejects mutating operations while keeping search queries available. Every state-changing request is written to a local `~/.sap-adt-mcp/audit.log` file on your machine. The server fails to start on Node.js versions below 22.19 due to the undici v8 dependency.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `SAP_ADT_MCP_CONFIG` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
