## What it does

This server bridges MCP-compatible developer tools with the RunAPI media platform. It gives your coding assistant access to a catalog covering text-to-speech, image synthesis, video rendering, and music creation. The assistant inspects schema parameters, checks live runtime pricing, and searches prompt templates before submitting any task.

Browsing the embedded model list needs no authentication. Generating media or fetching account balances requires credentials via `RUNAPI_API_KEY` or the login tool. The server acts as a thin client and never runs heavy AI workloads locally.

You can run it via stdio using `npx` or point directly to the remote hosted endpoint at `https://mcp.runapi.ai/mcp`. The hosted route skips local Node.js dependencies entirely.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Remote server: `https://mcp.runapi.ai/mcp`
- Environment variables: `RUNAPI_API_KEY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
