## What it does

The server acts as a card recommendation oracle for coding agents. You provide card identifiers along with a retailer name, and it evaluates current reward tiers, rotating quarterly bonuses, and merchant category code caveats. Calculations use cash back values by default, though passing `valuation: "points"` switches the math to conservative travel point valuations.

Tooling includes five methods: `best_card` for direct payout comparisons, `lookup_merchant` to inspect store category classifications, `search_cards` to look up supported products, plus `card` and `rotating_calendar` for reward schedule details. The underlying engine matches the logic of the iOS application and verifies calculations against 3,100+ reference fixtures.

Targeted user-specific merchant credits are omitted by design because personal cardholder deals remain strictly on mobile devices. You can integrate via the remote streamable HTTP endpoint at `https://mcp.rightcard.ai/mcp` or run stdio locally using `npx rightcard-mcp`.
