## What it does

Rewst MCP connects an AI agent to Rewst RPA through a CLI and MCP server. It can inspect workflow execution health, help investigate failures, assess automation ROI, identify dormant workflows, and compare configuration drift across client organizations. The same setup is intended for multi-organization work.

Claude Code can install it from the marketplace. The repository also provides installers for macOS, Linux, and Windows; they place `rewst-cli` and `rewst-mcp` in the user bin path, after which `rewst-cli --version` verifies the CLI. The MCP server is listed for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf (Devin Desktop), Cline, and Zed.

Use the default stdio transport. In the described build, HTTP mode has no password, binds to every network interface, and can be reached by an opened web page, so enabling it exposes tools that use your credentials.

## Requirements
- Environment variables: `REWST_BASE_URL`, `REWST_API_TOKEN` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
