## What it does

replicant-mcp connects an Android development setup to an AI assistant through MCP. It can build APKs and bundles, run unit or instrumented tests, enumerate modules and build variants, and compare test results with a baseline.

The server handles emulators and attached devices, including creation, startup, reset, snapshots, app installation, launch, stopping, and data clearing. For UI tasks it relies on the accessibility tree, locates controls by text or position, enters text, taps elements, and captures screenshots.

Logcat can be narrowed by package, tag, severity, or time. The package also exposes `replicant doctor` for environment checks and configurable structured logs. Node.js 18+, the Android SDK with `adb` and `emulator` on `PATH`, and `gradlew` for project builds are required; without them, the Android workflows will not run.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
