## What it does

The server gives an agent tools to search Federal Register records, inspect a specific document, and retrieve recent filings. Search can be narrowed by agency and date. Document details include effective dates and comment deadlines, while separate lookups cover executive orders and federal agencies.

It connects over HTTP as an MCP server, with no API key required. Treat results as a reference lookup, not legal advice; check the official register before relying on a document’s details.
