## What it does

Redbark gives an agent live access to account details, balances, transactions, holdings, and trades. It can also read and change Redbark settings, including syncs, destinations, categories, and rules. Changes affect Redbark configuration, not bank accounts.

The server runs remotely, so there is no local service to install or launch. It uses HTTP and supports browser-based OAuth 2.1 consent or an API key. Access requires a Redbark Developer or Professional account; API access is included in the free trial.

Banking data is fetched from its source when requested, and the agent does not receive banking credentials. Tools are limited by the permissions granted during consent. Brokerage data requires the separate `brokerage:read` scope.
