## What it does

Recomma's MCP server connects AI coding assistants to brand presence data across generative search platforms. It reveals how often ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews mention a specific company, alongside the external web pages linked inside those generative answers.

Setup runs against the HTTP endpoint `https://api.recomma.ai/mcp` or through the automated `npx recomma mcp claude` CLI runner. Alongside the MCP server, the repository provides tools to inspect visibility metrics across defined periods and group competitor citation sources.

Accessing brand figures requires an active `RECOMMA_API_KEY` created under Settings → Connect AI on the platform site; queries return errors without this token.
