## What it does

Reactive Resume is an open-source resume and cover letter builder. The MCP server exposes it to your agent: edit wording, tailor a resume to a posting, draft a letter, keep the application list in order.

The server is remote and speaks HTTP at `https://rxresu.me/mcp`. Nothing runs locally, but you need a Reactive Resume account because the tools work against your data in the service. Each client gets its own one-line command, while Cursor and GitHub Copilot take a JSON block.

The app is free, MIT-licensed, with no paid tier. Some features — writing review, letter drafts — rely on an AI provider you connect yourself: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, OpenRouter, Ollama or another compatible endpoint. Skip that step and those tools have nothing to call.
