# Rails Agent Skills

This MCP server gives coding agents procedures for Rails implementation, review, and maintenance. Use it to route a task to a relevant Rails specialist.

## What it does

The server exposes procedures for Rails work. `rails-feature` handles changes to application behavior, `rails-review` checks diffs, and `rails-maintenance` covers project setup, conventions, refactoring, and engine upkeep. A shared `work-router` chooses an entry; when the task is clear, you can call a specialist directly.

There are also specialist cards for Rails APIs, authorization, background jobs, GraphQL, Hotwire, migrations, performance, security, engines, setup, and tests. Ruby language patterns are handled by `ruby-core-skills`. The MCP connection starts a Docker container over stdio, so the `docker` command must be available.
