# Quidli Connect

Turns a social handle into a wallet address, reads its onchain reputation, and sends tokens. Useful when an agent pays someone it has never dealt with.

## What it does

Quidli Connect maps a handle on GitHub, X, Telegram, Discord, LinkedIn, Farcaster, email or phone to a wallet. If the person has no wallet yet, one gets created. `connect_scores_batch` then returns onchain reputation for a batch of identities, and payment goes out in any ERC-20, SPL or native token.

Two ways to run it. The hosted endpoint `https://mcp.connect.quid.li` needs no install: lookup, scores, agent and price work keyless under a shared anonymous quota. The local route, `npx -y @quidli/connect-mcp`, keeps your wallet private key on your own machine and can pay per call in USDC.

Do not hand a private key to the hosted endpoint — it supports neither x402 nor wallet auth. The local mode wants Node.js 20+, and x402 needs USDC on Base (mainnet `8453`). `connect_drop` only runs with an API key.

## When to use it
- find a wallet from someone's GitHub or Telegram handle
- check onchain reputation before sending funds
- send ERC-20 or SPL tokens without typing an address
- create a wallet for someone new to Quidli
- score several identities in one call

## Example prompts
- Resolve the GitHub handle `justinquidli` to a wallet address.
- Run `connect_scores_batch` on that address and show me its onchain reputation.
- Send 5 USDC to the wallet you found.
