# QorpIQ: Indian company and director data (MCA)

## What it does

This extension connects AI assistants to India's Ministry of Corporate Affairs database. Through `lookup_company` and `search_companies`, agents inspect registered firms by official identifiers or business names. The responses return incorporation timing, jurisdiction, authorized capital, filing status, and current board members. To evaluate individuals, `lookup_director` accepts an eight-digit DIN to surface disqualification markers and associated company holdings.

Setup requires no credentials or profile creation. Clients connect straight to the public endpoint at `https://mcp.qorpiq.com/mcp` or run locally with `npx -y @qorpiq/mcp-server`. The toolset also monitors MCA21 portal uptime via `mca_status` and pulls state-filtered incorporation batches with a one-week offset.

The free tier stops at 100 requests per day for each IP address. Personal email accounts and phone records are withheld in compliance with India's DPDP regulations.
