## What it does

This server connects your development environment to the Python library `ezdxf` and optional QCAD Pro binaries. Through 12 specialized MCP tools, it extracts layer details, analyzes room dimensions, adds annotations, and extrudes flat blueprints into 3D meshes like STL, OBJ, or GLB.

All project drawings reside in local persistent storage under `%LOCALAPPDATA%\qcad-mcp\depot`, customizable via `QCAD_MCP_DEPOT`. The package also spins up a control dashboard on port `11967` alongside a REST interface on port `11966`. Workflows run locally.

Core DXF manipulation relies on `ezdxf` under Python 3.13+, but converting DWG files requires a local QCAD Pro installation. The service can also hand off geometry to `blender-mcp` and `freecad-mcp` without forcing companion dependencies.
