## What it does

Prowlo operates as a hosted endpoint at `https://api.prowlo.com/mcp`. Background watchers collect discussions from Reddit and Hacker News, keeping past threads indexed for later retrieval. Instead of relying purely on exact keyword hits, agents run semantic searches across this accumulated dataset.

Direct live reads of current threads consume metered credits under a daily quota. Account setup relies on OAuth rather than individual Reddit API keys. The architecture stays strictly read-only: it cannot cast votes or post replies. After a 14-day evaluation period, continued access requires a $19 monthly subscription.
