## What it does

Coding assistants often rely on outdated training data when constructing generative media prompts. Agents stop guessing parameters. This server supplies live specifications for 67 models spanning video and image generation.

Prompt preparation tools catch issues before sending payloads to upstream APIs. Calling `lint_prompt` flags deprecated arguments and formatting errors. Meanwhile, `get_pricing` estimates volume expenses in USD and highlights more economical substitutes.

Anonymous setups get 25 calls per day across 10 common models. Querying the complete catalog of 67 models requires a subscription and a valid `PROMPTIBUS_API_KEY`. Without Node.js or `npx`, standard stdio initialization will fail.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `PROMPTIBUS_API_KEY`, `PROMPTIBUS_API_URL` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.

## When to use it
- select suitable generative models for audio, video, or image tasks
- detect obsolete syntax and parameter errors before running generations
- recalculate prompt phrasing to match specific model versions
- estimate USD generation costs and identify cheaper alternative models
