## What it does

Project Status gives an agent read-only access to project readiness, dependency details, and task evidence. It can also expose a bounded view of local activity. The server reads existing information; it does not launch work or verification.

Connect it through MCP in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf (Devin Desktop), Cline, Zed, or Gemini CLI. For Claude Code, run `claude mcp add project-status -- npx -y @openly-useful/project-status-mcp`. Activity depends on host events, so without those events the activity state remains unknown.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
