# PrismPoster Creator Tools

This MCP server gives agents tools for video dimensions, subtitle edits, and social media placement checks. Use it while preparing clips and assets for publication.

## What it does

The server can calculate frame dimensions from an aspect ratio, check published safe areas for social placements, and work out video bitrate or file size. Subtitle tools parse and convert SRT, WebVTT, and ASS/SSA, adjust cue timing, and remove overlaps.

It also includes tempo estimates and beat-grid calculations for editing. Safe-area results follow platform-published figures; when a platform has no fixed area, a result can be `null`. That matters in practice: substituting zeroes or another platform’s measurements would give a misleading result.

For Claude Code, connect over HTTP or run the package locally with `npx` and `@prismposter/creator-tools`. The server is listed for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf (Devin Desktop), Cline, Zed, and Gemini CLI.
