## What it does

The server bridges AI assistants with scientific review pipelines. It handles duplicate removal, off-topic detection, and article classification. To feed data into models, it extracts raw text from PDF, DOCX, and HTML sources.

Review workflows run on `TOML` configuration files. You can pull research directly from Zotero collections or URLs. The system logs pipeline milestones via RevAIse records and validates them against PRISMA 2020 rules using SHACL shapes.

Deployment depends on Docker because the packaged server runs from the image `ghcr.io/open-and-sustainable/prismaid-mcp:0.17.1`. Without a functioning Docker daemon, the agent will fail to launch the process.
