# PrintYourDuck Quote

Submits local 3D print assets to PrintYourDuck for manual price reviews. It helps coding agents locate CAD models and file quote requests directly from the project directory.

## What it does

This MCP integration connects local 3D models to human estimators at PrintYourDuck. It works with common mesh and CAD extensions, including `.stl`, `.step`, `.stp`, `.3mf`, `.obj`, and `.zip` archives. The assistant inspects formatting guidelines and requires explicit user confirmation before dispatching any geometry.

Four dedicated tools handle the quote flow: reading submission guidelines, finding local assets, executing the upload, and querying order status via quote identifier and email address. No API token is needed. Requests connect directly to `https://printyourduck.com`.

File scanning stays confined to the current directory. To scan parent folders, set `PRINTYOURDUCK_MCP_ALLOWED_ROOTS`. The server does not offer instant quotes or online checkout.
