# PrintFriendly

PrintFriendly strips clutter from public web pages and converts pages or text files into documents. Use it to bring site content into an agent workflow or export it to a file.

## What it does

The server returns public web pages as clean Markdown, removing ads and navigation. It can also convert a page, HTML, or Markdown into PDF, Word, Markdown, HTML, or JSON. Connections use MCP over HTTP.

A PrintFriendly API key is required; requests need the key for authorization. In Claude Code, add the server with `claude mcp add` and provide the key in an authorization header. Run `/mcp` in Claude Code to check the connection.
