Lets an AI agent open PDF presentations in the browser and validate speaker notes. Helpful when building slide decks with Typst or LaTeX.

## What it does

Presio links an AI assistant to the presentation web app via HTTP. The tool allows agents to inspect PDF files, check presentation notes, and coordinate slide playback. The browser handles two view modes simultaneously: one display shows slides to the audience, while another keeps the timer, notes, and upcoming pages private.

Speaker notes rely on standard formats without altering visual layout. Typst embeds them as JSON attachments per page, while LaTeX stores remarks inside hidden `note:` hyperlinks. If any asset breaks, the validator at `presio.ch/check` points out issues on affected pages.

Presentations remain inside browser storage for 7 days by default. Because the hosted instance runs over public endpoints, setups in isolated networks require the standalone Docker container `ghcr.io/potentialhedge/presio-local:1`.

## Requirements
- Remote server: `https://presio.xyz/mcp`

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
claude mcp add --transport http presio https://presio.xyz/mcp
```

### Codex

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
codex mcp add presio --url https://presio.xyz/mcp
```

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "presio": {
            "url": "https://presio.xyz/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```

### GitHub Copilot

**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "servers": {
        "presio": {
            "type": "http",
            "url": "https://presio.xyz/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
gemini mcp add -t http presio https://presio.xyz/mcp
```

## When to use it
- validate slide notes inside PDF files
- show presentations with separated presenter and audience views
- embed synchronized media into LaTeX or Typst decks
- stream slides across devices with a sync code

## Example prompts
- Check the speaker notes in `slides.pdf` using Presio
- Launch a presentation session for `deck.pdf` and show the audience link
- Add a synced video embed to slide 4 of my `talk.typ` file
