## What it does

This MCP server connects clients to the Alai API to turn unstructured text or markdown into styled presentations. The toolset covers deck creation via `generate_presentation` and slide adjustments with `create_slide` and `delete_slide`. It also creates speaker talking points. Final outputs download as PPTX files, PDF documents, or shareable web links.

Deck creation runs asynchronously. The client triggers the generation task, polls `get_generation_status` every 2 to 5 seconds, and handles the finished deck via `presentation_id`. Visual styling uses built-in themes such as `EMERALD_FOREST` or visual vibes listed by `get_vibes`.

Without a valid `ALAI_API_KEY` or an OAuth 2.1 session, execution calls fail. Unauthenticated connections can only inspect tool definitions.
