# Preflight

Preflight checks social posts before publishing and lets an agent draft, schedule, and manage them. Connect it when you want to handle social content through MCP.

## What it does

Preflight connects to 12 social networks, including Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. Its tools let an agent prepare drafts, validate posts, schedule or publish them, and manage posts already created. Validation happens before a post is sent, so a post that fails a network’s rules is held back.

Media has separate upload tools, and the file bytes do not pass through the assistant. The server also includes analytics, comment actions, channel details, and usage information. There are 27 tools in total.

Publishing requires the `posts:publish` permission. Without it, the connection can still create drafts, but it cannot send posts live. The hosted MCP server uses HTTP and accepts OAuth with PKCE and client registration, or an API key used as a bearer token.
