## What it does

This MCP server exposes the Pracht framework CLI directly to development agents. It lets the model read the app graph, generate API handlers, route modules, shells, and middleware. When the project includes a Playwright setup, newly created routes receive smoke test files automatically.

Verification tasks run through `pracht verify`. The utility catches manifest drift, checks constraints, and monitors client bundle gzip limits without a full build step. The `pracht plan` command creates a semantic diff of routes and endpoints against a base Git ref.

WebMCP route verification requires a local Chrome 150+ installation. Pracht never installs unpinned browsers on its own, so CI pipelines require an explicit path passed via `--browser`.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Platform CLI**
```bash
claude mcp add pracht -- npx -y @pracht/cli
```

### Codex

**Platform CLI**
```bash
codex mcp add cli -- npx -y @pracht/cli
```

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "cli": {
            "command": "npx",
            "args": [
                "-y",
                "@pracht/cli"
            ]
        }
    }
}
```

### GitHub Copilot

**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "servers": {
        "cli": {
            "type": "stdio",
            "command": "npx",
            "args": [
                "-y",
                "@pracht/cli"
            ]
        }
    }
}
```

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini mcp add cli npx -y @pracht/cli
```

## When to use it
- scaffold Pracht routes, shells, and API endpoints with manifest updates
- validate app graph constraints and bundle budgets without full builds
- generate semantic route diffs against git branches for pull requests
- verify WebMCP browser tools and cleanup against the app graph

## Example prompts
- Inspect the resolved app graph and list active routes
- Generate a new SSR route for /dashboard using the app shell
- Compare the current route graph against main and show the diff
