# poordjaevin

poordjaevin gives agents typed decisions with calibrated confidence. Use it when a model should assess a state before taking an action.

## What it does

poordjaevin runs as an MCP server that turns an agent’s decision into typed output. A request can ask for a value from a fixed set, a level-based score, or a boolean answer, with a confidence value alongside the result. It is local-first and does not need an API key.

The local option is installed with the `local` extra, which brings in `torch` and `transformers`; the model works offline after its first download. The ACP mode targets Devin and uses `poordjaevin serve`. Add the server to Claude Code with `claude mcp add poordjaevin -- uvx poordjaevin`. The local mode depends on `torch` and `transformers`.

## Requirements
- Needs: Python and uv (commands run via uvx)
- Environment variables: `POORDJAEVIN_BACKEND` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Platform CLI**
```bash
claude mcp add --env POORDJAEVIN_BACKEND=<POORDJAEVIN_BACKEND> --transport stdio poordjaevin -- uvx poordjaevin
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from poordjaevin <command>

### Codex

**Platform CLI**
```bash
codex mcp add poordjaevin --env POORDJAEVIN_BACKEND=<POORDJAEVIN_BACKEND> -- uvx poordjaevin
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from poordjaevin <command>

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "poordjaevin": {
            "command": "uvx",
            "args": [
                "poordjaevin"
            ],
            "env": {
                "POORDJAEVIN_BACKEND": "<POORDJAEVIN_BACKEND>"
            }
        }
    }
}
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from poordjaevin <command>

### GitHub Copilot

**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "servers": {
        "poordjaevin": {
            "type": "stdio",
            "command": "uvx",
            "args": [
                "poordjaevin"
            ],
            "env": {
                "POORDJAEVIN_BACKEND": "<POORDJAEVIN_BACKEND>"
            }
        }
    }
}
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from poordjaevin <command>

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini mcp add -e POORDJAEVIN_BACKEND=<POORDJAEVIN_BACKEND> poordjaevin uvx poordjaevin
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from poordjaevin <command>

## When to use it
- gate a risky tool call with a model decision
- return one value from a defined set
- classify a state into named levels
- attach confidence to a boolean answer

## Example prompts
- Before deleting data, ask the agent to use the `poordjaevin` MCP server and decide whether deletion is required.
- Use `poordjaevin` to classify this support request as `billing`, `technical`, `account`, `shipping`, or `other`.
- Ask `poordjaevin` whether the request is urgent and whether the user wants to cancel the account.
