## What it does

Polskie Prawo connects an AI agent to a database of Polish legislation published in Dziennik Ustaw. It can locate legal acts, retrieve individual provisions, find related rules and check whether a provision was in force on a particular date. The service checks legal status against the ELI register daily. Document attachments and tables are available through a dedicated tool.

The server exposes `search_legal_provisions`, `get_article`, `get_related_provisions`, `check_provision_status`, `get_attachment` and `list_legal_acts`. These operations are read-only. The repository also contains skills for citing provisions from the database, comparing wording across dates and examining contract clauses against applicable rules. Claude Code users can install the plugin with its skills or connect the MCP server on its own.

Access requires email sign-in. Visitors without an account get 20 trial queries; the Umowy.AI plan provides 500 queries per 30 days for PLN 49 including VAT, with the first 7 days free. The service receives database queries rather than conversation history or project documents, and stores queries with an account identifier for usage accounting. It retrieves and cites legislation, but does not provide legal advice or replace a lawyer.
