You can use a hosted endpoint or run the server locally with `npx`. Paid calls require Node.js 20 or later, USDC on the selected network, and the `POCKET_PRIVATE_KEY` and `POCKET_MAX_TOTAL_ATOMIC` settings. The spending cap is checked before signing and resets when the server restarts. The wallet key sits in plain text in the client configuration, so use a wallet funded only with an amount you are prepared to spend. Without a key, only the free tools work. Set `POCKET_QUOTE_ONLY` to receive payment terms without paying; your client may not request approval before a paid call.
