## What it does

The server uses public data from Japan’s National Tax Agency. It can find a company by its 13-digit corporate number, or return candidates from a name or address search. Other tools check an invoice issuer number’s status and fetch company profile sections covering items such as subsidies, certifications, and finances. Responses include source details and a disclaimer about the service’s status.

Name and address searches match prefixes and require a two-digit prefecture code; each call returns at most 20 results. A company name by itself cannot identify one business with certainty, so check the returned candidates against other details. The free tier allows up to 100 tool calls per calendar month in Japan time, and does not require an API key.
