## What it does

This server hooks your coding agent directly to the `plugandship.dev` registry. You can discover MCP servers, skills, and plugins using plain task descriptions instead of searching the web manually. It filters by tool type or target platform, such as `cursor` or `claude-code`.

The integration exposes four core tools: `search_tools` for task matching, `get_tool` for metadata and repository links, `trending` for star-growth tracking, and `list_best` for curated topic groups. Returned payloads include ready-to-run installation commands and public HTTP endpoints.

Running it remotely requires zero local setup via the streamable HTTP endpoint at `https://plugandship.dev/mcp`. If you run it locally with `npx`, make sure Node.js 18 or newer is installed. The underlying public API enforces a rate limit of roughly 60 calls per minute per IP address.
